Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) Service

Since 18 November 2025, new UK legislation requires all new and existing Company Directors and people with significant control (PSCs) to each verify their identity with Companies House, which then provides a Unique Personal Code. 

The Personal Code is required when updating on Companies House (via the web-filing portal, each Director(s) details, normally at the time of the Company annual Confirmation Statement date or earlier, as and when required.

The personal code needs to be provided to the Company’s authorised Accountant or authorised Agent, who must have a GOV.UK One Login (as this is now the only option) to access Companies House Web-filing.  

Also when registering a new Limited Company, the Companies House Personal Code(s) / Identification Verification Code(s), must be entered directly into the incorporation application as part of the Director(s) appointment filing.

The GOV.UK One Login requirement has or will become part of this process.As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) We verify clients on their behalf, via our “ACSP" Companies House dashboard, to enable the processing of the Identification Verification and upon successful submission, the generation of a Personal Code by Companies House, emailed from them directly.  

Our fee for this service is £ 55.00 + VAT = £ 66.00 - Per each Director

Invoiced at the time of submitted application and confirmation back from Companies House to us that Verification has been completed successfully and the personal ID code has been emailed directly to the client.  

We also email copies of the documents we receive to the client for reference.   Normally this can all be a same day process.Verification is required for:

• Company directors
• People with Significant Control (PSCs)
• Anyone filing on behalf of a company

Regarding us completing the Companies House Identity Verification, we need the following proof of ID

• Copy of passport showing the photo and id page(s) that includes signature.
• Copy of your driving licence (front) 
• Copy of a recent (within last 1 or 2 month) “personal" utility bill or bank statement. 

• Documents must be valid and in date
• Images must be clear, readable, and unaltered
• Client must be the true holder of the document

Note: As an ACSP, we must:

• Confirm the document(s) are genuine
• Match the document(s) to the individual
